a new season…

…a dream come true. 

that moment when you realize your children have began emulating you. they don’t just copy what you do. they are now trying things you are doing. walking the walk. talking the talk. 

but then, it shifts. 

now, it’s different. 

now, they are carrying your heart. 

the oldest one has expressed he would really like to try photography. so that someday, he can help me in my photography business. 

and my heart explodes. 

he asks to borrow my old camera. and I quickly jump at the chance. 

we’re going manual. all the way. 

no better time to start, right? 

it’s an exciting time. 

new adventures. 

a new season. 

I feel like I said this when I inherited my first dslr a couple years back, but with a new journey right before me, I feel that I need to say it again.
