a backyard baptism

it is incredible to watch your child grow up. and not just the age-appropriate milestones. I’m talking about the kind of growing up that you can physically, tangibly feel.

I recently had the privilege of watching this in my 9-year old. not too long ago, he has decided, on his own, to love Jesus with all of his heart, all of his mind, and all of his soul. he professed Jesus as his Savior. and last weekend, he decided to show this inward commitment with an outward act through baptism.

it turned out to be one of the most beautiful days we had in January…
